Student Success

For high school families

Your next step, by text.

Student Success reads a student's Canvas grades and assignments and sends one short text a day: what to work on first, and why. Parents get a calm summary of the same facts.

How it works

1. Connect Canvas

A parent adds a Canvas access token from the student's school account. We read grades and assignments. We never change anything in Canvas.

2. One plan a day

Every afternoon the student gets a numbered list: missing work that still counts most, then what's due soon. Short, encouraging, never shaming.

3. Parents stay in the loop

Parents get a daily summary of each class and what's first on the list, so the conversation at dinner starts from the same page.

What the texts look like

Hi Jordan, here's your plan for today. 1. Bio lab report (was due Mon, still counts) 2. Algebra 2 worksheet 4.3, due Thu 3. English reading log, due Fri Already done one on paper or in class? Reply done and its number, like: done 1
done 1
Got it, 1 marked done. Nice work!

Texts come from one number, at the same time each afternoon. Students can reply done with a number when they finish work that Canvas can't see yet, like a paper worksheet.

Up to 1 message a day per person, plus replies to your texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Details in our SMS terms.

Built for privacy

Students are minors, so we collect only what the texts need, never sell data, and never share phone numbers with anyone except the texting provider that delivers the messages. Canvas tokens are encrypted before they are stored. Read the privacy policy.
